Banner design service
With a dedicated in-house service, Butterfly Print and Design create banner designs to support companies in Chesham and beyond to make an impact and showcase their brand.
Printed banners should include strong, bold imagery and text that grabs people’s attention. It is not the format for detailed information or even contact information; provide those in accompanying literature such as leaflets and business cards, which people can take away.
Whether you have strong ideas about the layout or you are really starting from scratch, we are happy to help to bring all the elements together to help you design a banner for your business.
To help us meet your requirements, it is worth considering the following 3 points:
- What type of printed banners do you need?
- What will they be used for?
- What do you want them to achieve?
Types of promotional banners for business
Roller Banners – These are a convenient and cost-effective way of building brand awareness and promoting services at exhibitions, training events and networking groups. The banner rolls up into an easy to transport format, which can be unveiled in minutes for a free-standing display.
Pop- Up Banners – Ideal for exhibitions and an effective PoS material, these are typically larger than a roll-up option. A series of banners are attached to an easy to erect, free-standing frame using magnets to create a large display that provides the perfect, branded backdrop to your stand.
Vinyl Banners – With eyelets positioned around the edges, vinyl printed banners can be attached to railings and posts. They are widely used to promote events including training days, college open days, fundraisers and community fayres.
Fabric Displays – All our freestanding displays are highly portable. Clip together the frames, then pull over the fabric graphic. When it’s over, dismantle in minutes and be on your way again – each comes with a carry case.

3 Tips for banner designs
- Layout – When planning to design a banner, be aware that the most important message should be shown in the top quarter. The lowest half of the banner is often obscured and is more difficult to read, so avoid placing vital information there.
- Design – Focus on simple bold design and large clear text – the aim is to draw people in. You then have the opportunity to provide further information.
- Flow – You want your banner to be easy to process, so it is important that your design flows from left to right and top to bottom.
